Weekly Challenge: Try Something New in Fitness


On a coaching call last week, a lady mentioned she wanted to go out on her bike. I asked her what was holding her back, and she wasn't sure. So, we set a simple challenge: she would go out on her bike the next day. The catch? She had to come back on our call and tell me she had done it. Now, I challenge you. If you want to do something, do it. If you want to try something new, try it. And here’s the catch: I want a comment, a WhatsApp message, anything to hold you accountable. Because I promise you, you won’t regret it.


Challenge Name: New Fitness Frontier




Duration: 7 Days


Objective: To step out of your comfort zone and try a new fitness activity each day that you have never done before.


Daily Tasks: Here are some ideas or create your own for the next 7 days and I'll share mine.


Day 1: Yoga

Try a beginner's yoga class, either online or at a local studio.


Day 2: HIIT Workout

Engage in a High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) session. These quick, intense bursts of exercise followed by short rest periods are great for boosting metabolism and improving cardiovascular health.


Day 3: Dance Fitness

Take a dance fitness class, like Zumba or hip-hop. Let loose and have fun while burning calories and improving your coordination.


Day 4: Pilates

Try a Pilates class to strengthen your core and improve flexibility. Pilates focuses on controlled movements and breathing, providing a great workout for your entire body.


Day 5: Outdoor Adventure

Go for a hike, a trail run, or a long walk in nature. Enjoy the outdoors and challenge your body with different terrains and inclines.


Day 6: Strength Training

Incorporate a strength training session using weights or resistance bands. Focus on different muscle groups and learn proper form and techniques to build strength and endurance.


Day 7: Mindfulness and Meditation

Finish the week with a mindfulness and meditation session. Try a guided meditation or a peaceful yoga session focusing on mental clarity and relaxation.


How to Participate:

Take photos of your activities each day and share them on social media, or send them to me, dm me for my number.


Reflect: At the end of each day, write down how the new activity made you feel and any benefits you noticed.


Encourage Others: Invite friends or family members to join the challenge with you. Share or tag them in this post. Share your experiences and motivate each other to try new things.


Reward: At the end of the week, treat yourself to a relaxing activity or a small reward to celebrate your achievements and newfound love for diverse fitness activities.


Remember, the goal is to have fun and discover new ways to stay active and healthy!
