The journey through pregnancy is an emotional rollercoaster from the first trimester of deep exhaustion. The second is a little more stable with a shift in energy. The third presents challenges associated with greater weight and erratic energy levels.

The beauty of yoga practice is that it offers appropriate practices for each and every stage,: nourishing breath and restorative work and more appropriate for the opening part of the journey; more active physical and breathwork are suitable to the middle stage; and a range of integrated practices can help in the last weeks of pregnancy to prepare for birth with confidence.
